Studies are showing that common research and recommendations of high aspirin and anti-oxidant intake for heart problem sufferers are not worth the effort for those ho have diabetes. Aspirin has long been prescribed for heart problem sufferers due to the beneficial effects of the drug on symptoms and effects of heart disease. Recent studies on the benefits of high anti-oxidant intakes from plant derivatives also added to the pool of possibly positively affecting drugs and compounds that can provide some form of cure or healing for the disease.
New studies are now showing that either may have an effect on the disease’s progression or regression and that some other mechanism may be at work that is responsible for the positive effects. Diabetes is a debilitating disease that can be caused by one of many factors so more study is warranted for further credence in the initial findings. People who suffer from diabetes are prone to complications such as heart problems that may or may not at all be related. Research that shows stress and depression being more of a threat than environmental or genetic links are possible.
