One of the main killers since time immemorial, heart diseases have become one of the priorities of doctors, researchers and scientists who through advances in modern medicine, continue to expand our knowledge in the field. In the olden days, a bad heart was to blame but today’s modern medicine has taught us the myriad of diseases that can come from one of many sources.
Causes can be from the environment, your lifestyle and even your genes, all these have a thing or two to do with a persons health. Today, many of the previously known heart diseases can be found and treated with detection tools and methods that were unavailable to people just a few years ago. Imaging technology and even molecular biology and genetics are all making strides in helping discover treatments that work further expanding our view into this killer disease.
